Description:

Deep in the Sacred Valley, one of the most popular settings among canoeing fans. Several stretches to cover: Calca - Urubamba and Huambutío - Písac (classes II and III; Ollantaytambo (classes III and IV). Between December and March, Cusipata route with class III rapids in the roughest part and Chiquicahuana: class IV rapids recommended. Minimum time: 2 days.

Useful Information :

			Location: Cusco, Cusco Region
			Weather: mild to cold with rain from December to March. Average temperature: 14ºC (57ºF).
			Best season: from April to October.
			Access Routes: By road: Cusco - Písac or Cusco - Huambutío(33 km / 21 miles): 45 min per stretch. Cusco - Cusipata(81 km / 50 miles).
