ALPAMAYO - TREKKING BEYOND THE MOUNTAINS

Description:

The 80 km / 50 miles route starts at Pampa Huallcayan goes to Huishcash and runs along the mountain range through the Yaino archaeological site. Magnificent view of the YanamayoPass and its lakes and the Alpamayo (5947 masl / 19511 fasl), Santa Cruz, Aguja and Quitaraju peaks. Degree of difficulty: high. Minimum time: 10 days.
