Description:

Included in the world canoeing circuit for its great depth and class II, III, and IV rapids. It starts at approximately 2700 masl / 8858 fasl at the Cúnyac bridge close to Mollepata (Anta), and descends through amazing landscapes and canyons more than 3000 meters / 9843 feet deep ending at the thermal springs of Cconoc, in Curahuasi (Apurímac). Located in the Salkantay mountain range area, one of the most beautiful in the world. Minimum time: 3 days.

			Location: Apurímac and Cusco Regions
			Weather: semi-dry and cold with rain from December to March Average temperature: 11°C (52ºF).
			Best season: from May to September.
			Access Routes: By plane: Lima - Cusco (1 h). By road: 73 km / 45 miles northeast of the city of Abancay (2:30 h) by bus, down the Cusco - Abancay road (Cúnyac Bridge).
