DAY 1: Arrival, reception, and transfer to chosen hotel accommodations.
DAY 2: Breakfast. In the morning, we’ll visit the Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology which offers tourists an excellent opportunity to learn about the history of the cultures that once inhabited Old Peru before the Incan Empire was formed. We’ll see the archaeological remains of the Chimu, Mochica, Viru (northern Peru), Chavin (central Peru), Paracas, and Nazca (southern Peru) cultures which formed the territory of the Incas. Depart to Chiclayo and transfer to hotel.
DAY 3: Breakfast. In the morning, we’ll visit the Valley of Pyramids of Tucume. This place of great mystery has buildings dating back to legendary times. Next depart for Lambayeque, where we’ll visit the world famous Museum of the Royal Tombs of the Lord of Sipan. The architecture of this place is similar to the place where the remains and treasures of the Lord of Sipan were found. Inside the museum, we’ll enjoy a view of many amazing treasures of gold, silver, precious stones and other metals. Lunch at a traditional restaurant.
In the afternoon, we’ll go to Cracked Huaca (Huaca Rajada), the place where the Tomb of Lord of Sipan was found. Return to Chiclayo and transfer to hotel.
DAY 4: Breakfast. In the morning, we’ll head to the town of Pitipo to visit the Museum of the Lord of Sicán (Museo del Señor de Sicán), another amazing discovery found at the Huacas of Batan Grande in the carob tree forests of the Sechura Desert. This museum holds a death mask made of feathers, gold and silver. We’ll also see a recreation of how the Lord of Sican was found upon discovery of his tomb. Return to Chiclayo.
In the afternoon, we’ll depart in our own private vehicle for the city of Trujillo - 3 hours away. Along the way, we’ll enjoy a view of the valleys that form each of the different rivers flowing in from the Andes Mountains. On the way by the Sugar Factory "Casa Grande," we’ll visit an archaeological area where excavations are being done. We’ll have a chance to inspect the archaeological excavation of a large pre-Inca cemetery. Upon arrival to Trujillo you’ll be transferred to your hotel.
DAY 5: Breakfast. In the afternoon, we’ll visit to the Temple of the Dragon. Continuing on, we’ll reach the adobe city of Chan Chan, the capital of the Chimu Empire. Next, visit the creek of the fishermen of Huanchaco Beach where we’ll find rafts made of Totora reeds, junco (plant) of the lake, still used by native fishermen. Enjoy lunch at a traditional restaurant.
In the afternoon, visit the Temple of the Sun and the Moon where you’ll enjoy viewing some of the most recent discoveries of beautifully decorated polychrome adobe murals and walls. Afterwards, you’ll be transferred to the airport. Depart to Lima where you’ll be transferred to your hotel.
DAY 6: Breakfast. Transfer to Lima International Airport.

· Trujillo and Chiclayo are warm cities and some of the activities are in rural zones, so remember to bring sunscreen and bug repellent.
